The possibility of developing an Integrated Project for Quarries Sets comes from legal opening created by the publication of Decree-Law nr. 340/2007, of October 12th (which changes and republishes Decree-Law nr. 270/2001, of October 6th) and addresses the integrated solution of exploitation and landscape recovery, comprising two or more confining quarries.

The instruction of quarries’ licensing procedures requires the prior submission of the Integrated Project to Environmental Impact Assessment procedures. For the licensing procedure VISA Consultores prepares the Integrated Project Plan (Quarry set) and Environmental Impact Study of the Project, in accordance with Article 35 of Decree Law nr. 270/2001 of October 6th, amended and republished by Decree-Law nr. 340/2007 of October 12th.
